Peter Irish spent the first 30 years of his career in the advertising, amusement park, consumer goods (food and hygiene products), POS and packaging, and consulting industries, building $50 to $100 million businesses for several Fortune 100 companies along the way. He has employed career change agencies successfully and repeatedly—including the Barrett Group. More recently he has focused on the business coaching and career change industries, acting today as the CEO of the Barrett Group.

In his spare time, Peter stays fit through running and looks forward to continuing his science fiction series under the pen name of Peter Darrach.

Prior to joining The Barrett Group, Dan had partnered with Fortune 100 and mid-sized companies in the talent acquisition, consumer products, retail and service sectors. Dan has served as COO, Regional Vice President, Regional Director, District Manager and Executive Recruiter. His background includes working directly for Nike, TJX, Bally, Management Recruiters International and Footlocker Inc., including Kinney and Woolworth.

Dan’s academic and industry credentials include earning an undergraduate degree in Business; completing his Business Analysis Certification from Babson Executive Education College as well as being recognized as a Certified Resume Writer by The National Résumé Writers’ Association.

Waffles P. Natusch was a successful Barrett Group client, having completed a career transition from manufacturing management to financial services, before he was recruited to join the team. Recognized for his ability to lead aggressive career marketing campaigns, Waffles quickly moved up in the organization and was promoted to Vice President after only two years with the company. He served as company president from 2005 to 2017 and, with the new management staff in place this year, his role is now VP of Client Services & Consierge. This year marks his 28th year with the firm.

Offering over 40 years of management experience, Waffles has earned a reputation for engaging the human element to advance business needs. As a founding member of The Barrett Brain Trust, the consulting team often calls on him for client advice. The mission continues: provide the highest quality of career management services to our clients while always striving to optimize the service suite, staying current with changes in the hiring process and finding the best ways to utilize the latest technology.

In his free time, Waffles enjoys working in his music studio as he is a talented musician, playing several instruments.

Jessica Brousseau is originally from Warwick, Rhode Island and is a proud mother of a softball playing, lovely daughter. Her career in the career consulting business has spanned over the course of eight years at The Barrett Group, in many diverse roles. She started as an administrative assistant, rapidly rising up the ranks and culminating in the Office Manager role, servicing over 20 employees. She has rapidly honed her financial skills and is in charge of all Human Resource functionality at The Barrett Group. She has proved herself invaluable in cutting costs and time with her exacting of expert computer skills including Excel and Quick Books. Her efforts have not gone unnoticed by the CFO, who has directly, heavily levied new levels of financial responsibility which she adroitly handles.

Jessica has also had prior experience in the recruiting end of the business for a period of two years. She also assists in all levels of client services, including research and basic customer service, doing so with efficiency and respect.

Jessica was recently promoted to Operations Specialist.

Christina Taylor is a Warwick, Rhode Island native who started her career at The Barrett Group began while doing an internship at the company. Her skill set and work ethic became apparent and was offered a position as Administrative Assistant. She was then promoted to Research Coordinator and now is the Senior Research Associate for The Barrett Group and is an invaluable asset for client fulfillment and satisfaction.

In this position, she artfully services clients by preforming valuable background information on companies, executives, financials, private equity and Hedge Fund Company and contact information. She does reviews on companies for our clients, investigating who is what position at which company, creating a virtual snapshot of any company a client may be interested in. Christina also does published market searches along with cost of living and salary research. She also researches appropriate recruiter information and delivers interview preparation research.

Christina’s favorite job is raising her precious son Li’l Man Raymond.

Mo Chanmugham is a marketer turned lawyer turned career coach. After a string of "dream jobs", first as a marketing associate in the sports industry (Reebok), then as an assistant to a Hollywood agent in the film industry (United Talent Agency), and finally as an entertainment lawyer in the music industry (Def Jam, Sony Music), he realized he was chasing a superficial version of success rather than one that was authentic to him.

Sue Mitchell offers extensive experience in small business ownership and enterprise development consulting, business operations, human resource management and career counseling. Originally from New Zealand, Sue brings international experience to the Barrett Group in career and academic development as well as business practice.

Sue co-founded and grew a very successful horticultural business which became a market leader in specialized commercial cut flower production in New Zealand. In addition, Sue spent many years as a mentor and trainer in higher education where she developed and taught management programs to a broad range of students. As the Head of the School of Management, Sue promoted management courses offered within the college’s Faculty of Business and managed a diverse group of academic teaching staff.

Initially Sue came to the United States to work with disadvantaged children as part of an international cultural teaching exchange and later was recruited as a consultant in the career management industry because of her diverse expertise and counseling talent. Sue has assisted many executives in transitioning careers and marketing their talents to top companies throughout the United States and overseas. Sue holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Management (with an emphasis in sport).

With American Hospital Supply corporation later merged with Baxter International he coached sales reps, managers, and division executives as he rose to Vice President of Corporate Services in Baxter’s Corporate Marketing division. George later became an entrepreneur/business owner when he and wife Debbie started from scratch an AlphaGraphics Printing Business Center on Michigan Ave. in Chicago. His AlphaGraphics quickly achieved Gold Circle status for sales and President’s Award for operations.

After 11 years George successfully sold the AlphaGraphics in a period of 90 days. More recently George has been a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner for UBS Financial Services achieving the rank of First Vice President.
