After 22 years in the financial services industry, I found myself desiring a change in employment. My experience with The Barrett Group far exceeded my expectations. I had previously hired a similar firm closer to my home in the Bay Area of California, which turned out to be a fiasco. I decided to change jobs at the beginning of one of the worst recessions in our country’s history. It was also the first time I had to actually think about how to market myself and my skills.
